Marilyn Reed’s vision and energetic approach have provided the foundation on which her business career has been built.


Upon graduation from Colorado Woman’s College in 1983, Marilyn accepted a sales position working for a national distributor of microcomputer equipment based in Illinois. Within one year, she increased her territory’s sales volume by 250%, brought in over 200 new accounts, successfully introduced over 40 new products and achieved the 2nd highest national sales ranking.

With a proven sales track record, Marilyn was offered the opportunity to build and manage a sales force for Entre’ Computer Systems in Missouri. After several additional assignments her success in building solid customer relationships resulted in her appointment as the general manager for the largest Entre’ site, New York City. She guided this office to national prominence as the largest provider of microcomputers in the country. Marilyn also received accolades for her personal attainment and development of contracts with major clients such as Kidder Peabody, Con Edison, Chase Manhattan Bank, Chemical Bank, Dean Witter Reynolds, Bear Stearns, Nynex and Lilco. To handle this increased volume, Marilyn successfully planned and implemented a 10,000 square foot integration and distribution facility.

In 1993, Marilyn was recruited by Pride Technologies to build a New York sales force. In her first year with Pride Technologies, New York City sales rose from $250K to $48 million annually. She was instrumental in the award of a $20 million annual service contract from American International Group, the largest single service contract Pride Technologies was ever awarded and fostered similar awards from Con Edison and AT&T.

In 1999 Marilyn opened Pegasus Partners intent on building a world-class services organization. With the strong relationships she had built throughout her career and a burning desire to provide quality services to each and every customer, Marilyn has created a company well on its’ way to becoming a role model for the services industry. Among her satisfied clients are Chase Manhattan Bank, American International Group, The Star Foundation and Smith Barney Asset Management.s. Gene Buckley joined Pegasus Partners in September of 2001 as a Vice President and CFO. Prior to Pegasus Gene was the CIO for Young & Rubicam Group headquartered in New York. As CIO Gene was responsible for the application and infrastructure needs of 16,000 employees in 170 offices worldwide.

During his tenure at Y&R Gene implemented significant infrastructure improvements that are directly applicable to our largest clients. These projects included a communications conversion from a frame relay network to a network based on the latest Cisco VPN technologies and global software migrations involving Lotus (web development) and Microsoft (desk top applications).

Between 1989 and 1999 Gene was a principal in a number of technology ventures. Gene was the C.O.O. of Rumarson Technologies, a marketer of a consumer device designed primarily for Internet access. The Ibox was distributed through direct mail & catalogue channels and targeted the "unconnected" consumer. This product was built around the concept that a consumer needed a simple product for email and web access.

From 1989 to 1997 Gene was the Chief Operating Officer of Pride Technologies, a nation wide integrator with 27 offices and revenues in excess of $150 million. Pride was an integrator that focused on infrastructure services required by large companies and was ultimately sold to a publicly traded national integrator.


Gene received a BS in Economics from Rutgers University.
